Fosse Singers

Listen to the choir perform and join in the singing of well known carols, plus enjoy a glass of wine and minced pie. There will be a raffle with prizes including dinner for two at the Hilton Hotel, a Venture Photo Experience plus a 'Ready, Steady, Shake' cocktail making session at Barristers Bar. Singing carols is such a fun traditional way to put you in the mood for Christmas.

We will be performing with Derby Brass Band and Kerfuffle (a folk group) and the Duffield Singers. This is a ticket event - £7.50 for adults and £3.75 for children under 12. Proceeds are going to the Parkinson’s Disease Society, to celebrate their 40th Anniversary.

We were very privileged to join with The Red Leicester Choir, Yamanu and a small but great children's choir to form ‘The Special Olympics Choir’ conducted by Una May. The song ‘CELEBRATE HUMANITY’ was composed and sung by Denni Harris.

The song ‘CELEBRATE HUMANITY ‘ celebrates the spirit of all humanity, bonded by human priniciples and shared values, Freedom, Truth and Justice, Equality, Peace for all humanity irrespective of Race, Culture, Creed or Religious beliefs.

The choir’s Summer concert was at the Y Theatre, on Saturday 11th July 2009. With special guests

The Massed Choir event for WaterAid at The Riverside Festival at Bede Island, Leicester on Sunday June 7th 2009 has so far raised over £7000 for the Water Aid Charity
